The Celebrity Apprentice

I truly think that Donald Trump has producers whispering in his ears to NOT fire Star or NeNe!  Last night's episode was such a blowout and had to have pretty high ratings because I was riveted and screamed at the TV when it the show stopped to see Obama speak.  And then he was late coming on.  I was so mad that I went to bed early, at least for me.

Back to Celebrity Apprentice...I know that Star and NeNe make for good TV watching and I know that honestly Hope should have gone a long time ago, I totally forgot she was on it for a few weeks.  So I have not problem that he fired Hope but, WOW, what an episode.  NeNe should have been fired because she was the reason why they lost the task, but who wants to watch Star just run the show without some friction!  I hope that in the finale, though, there are 2 men...Lil' John and John Rich!! I love those guys and I think that it will be great to watch at the finale.

Keep watching, it just keep getting more interesting.

The Office

What a great episode for Steve Carrell's last show!  The Office has been around for many years and those who love it have grown to know Michael Scott's ways.  The writers and Steve Carrell and cast made it a fabulous last day for Michael Scott.  There were quirks and laughs and extremes.  I laughed and teared up more times than I care to admit. I love how Micheal and Jim parted and I screamed when Pam pulled in as Michael's taxi pulled away.  I am proud of the writers.  They stayed true to the show and to the characters.

By the end we knew Michael wasn't coming for the party, but we waited.  The addition, as short as it may be, of Will Farrell has been fabulous.  I like Will Farrell in most of his work but they have allowed the audience to choose to hate him and miss Steve Carrell.  I am excited to see how things turn out in the last few episodes.  There are some big names dropping in.  Next season should be interesting, I am willing to watch, but if last night was the last episode I were to see I would be satisfied.

Happy Endings

A new show on ABC called Happy Endings is getting some great reviews.  I watched the first few episodes and they were good, but as I watch they get better and better!  I love the people and how they are not the typical characters you see everyday.  This group of 6 (yes, I know, Friends...but remember, I love them too!)  This group is barely 30 and have already known each other for about 10 years.  I think that dynamic is harder to create than when  people meet for the first time as the series starts.

There is a married couple - mixed race - and, guess what, nobody talks about it!! Yeah!! The wife is a little neurotic and maybe a little crazy.  Her husband is Damon Wayan's son!! He is so funny.  He is married but at times plays the typical gay character.  I guess he is in touch with his feminine side.

There is a gay guy, but he is SO not the typical gay character - he loves sports, dresses badly, etc.  He has great lines and it is refreshing to have something different.

The "ultimate single girl" really wants to not be single.  She has a guy she "really likes" each show.  Her characeter hasn't developed much but she has great lines.

The last 2 characters were suppose to get married, in the first episode, but she left him at the alter.  Of course, they are trying to be friends and probably will be back together.  Neither of their characters have been developed yet but there are endless possibilites.

Tune in and see if this show really will have Happy Endings!
