As I look at my scheduled recordings on my DVR I realize I have more shows to watch than hours in my night. I am sure I will watch Dancing with the Stars: Elimination tonight because I can fast forward through a lot of the wait time and dramatic music. But after that I will have to choose what to watch. If you are in the same dilemma or want to try a new show here are a few tidbits about 3 of the shows that I listed.
No Ordinary Family - A family has received super powers after an airplane crash. Cool special effects and great family dynamics. Of course their are "bad guys" (as Son would say!) and things seem to work out at the end of most shows, but very entertaining.
The Good Wife - Lawyers, politicians and great acting. Julianna Margulies, Chris Noth and a slew of wonderful actors make up this cast and the writing keeps the show at a fast pace...it is nice to have a show that makes you think and is enjoyable.
Parenthood - Family, family and more family. Talk about great dynamics, great acting, and great writing. If you aren't watching this, and you have a family or came from a family (so everybody!) you should be watching this. I see myself, or part of our family, in every show and with different characters. The best part is the dialogue that the characters have with each other, it just seems so real, like it was taken from my kitchen.
Depending on how my night is going will depend on what I watch tonight, but at least I know that whatever I choose it will be good TV!
